Dear sir or madame,
I am looking for two things this work term: fancy toys and a great work environment. My personal emphasis is on the last. And to me, fancy toys don’t mean foosball and an Xbox (although they are appreciated!), they mean a cool platform. To me, e-learning is just such a thing. This is a natural reaction for me – I grew up around teachers and technology and even followed along as my mother completed a Master of Distance Education degree. The one thing that bugged me all along? The technology just is not in place (or even invented) yet.
I want to learn more about your company – and I hope you’ll want to learn more about me. My resume, attached below, is a bit unorthodox, but I think it describes me quite well. You’ll notice that during my last work term I created a company and a product for the educational market – indeed, this is part of my curiousity about your company: I want to be in an established, successful business in the market and learn everything you have to teach me.
Respectfully,
Colin Dellow
