I am a lucky person.
I have had the great fortune to attend the University of Waterloo where both my entrepreneurial and technical skills have flourished. Spolsky, Drucker, Norman and Nielsen. Four big names whose beliefs and works I have had the chance to explore as a result of my attendance here. More than that, I’ve been exposed to names that aren’t known worldwide – yet – in the form of my peers, professors and employers. All of this has driven me to new appreciation for the science of engineering; all of this has driven me to apply to your company today.
One of the great things about the Waterloo co-op experience is the diverse opportunities it provides. Last term, a classmate and I launched a business. From starting up to becoming a going concern, we got to be a part of the whole cycle. It was a great experience. And now, I want the chance to learn more and expand my viewpoints while also contributing something of real worth and value to the users of the iAnywhere product lines.
My resume, attached below, is a bit unorthodox but I feel it describes me very well. I’d love to get to know you better, and hope you’ll feel the same way, too – after all, who couldn’t use a lucky person on their team?
All the best in your search for the right candidate,
